I have recently discovered the wonders of false nails. I can buy them plain, decorate them however I wish and then apply them in only a few minutes. I'm not quite sure why I decided to give this a go but I am so glad I did. Currently I have about 10 pairs decorated and ready to wear which means the next time I want lovely new nails I can just pop these on. Far better than the 3 hours needed to do my real nails 4-5 total coats plus drying time... and I usually still manage to smudge them after. Enough rambling I think... you want pictures right?
I am wearing:
Nailene 200 Full Cover nails. Shape - Active Square.
George Nail Polish in Molton Lava (2 coats)
Tips were done with Rio Foil Adhesive and Spangles Copper foil.
Rio 2 in 1 Vanish (2 coats)
NYC Nail Hardener as Top Coat (i usually use OPI but the bottle has sealed itself shut).
*Note to self: Try to take pics during the day... artificial light + flash is bad...*
I also have a couple of EotD/FotD pics which i didn't have time to post seperately and I can't remember what products I used. So i'll just post them here...
Tomorrow I shall do a proper review of the Nailene nails and maybe a nail foil tutorial if I have time.
Thanks for reading.
This is a place for me to talk about one of my loves - makeup. I plan to include reviews, swatches and hauls. Oh and nails... can't forgets nails.

Another Quick Post - FOTD - New Years Day
This is the Makeup I wore on New Years Day as I wanted to use my new NARS eyeshadows (which I'll do a review of soon).
(please excuse eyebrows... I don't tend to do anything with them.)
I used:
Face:
L'Oreal Smoothing Resurfacing Primer
Clinique Anti Blemish Foundation in 02 Ivory
MAC MSFN in Medium Plus
Estee Lauder Signature Blush in Nude Rose
MAC MSF in By Candlelight
Eyes:
MAC Paint Pot in Soft Ochre as a primer
MAC Eyeshadow in Shroom for Highlighter
Fyrinnae Eyeshadow in Half Elf Hottie in inner corners
NARS Eyeshadow in Strada on lid and to just above crease
NARS Eyeshadow in Galapagos in the crease and on the outer 1/4 of upper lashline.
H&M Liquid Eyeliner in Glitter Black on upper lashline (yes - odd brand but this is a HG for me - its a black liner with subtle silver glitter. Has a fine brush applicator which allows me to get a really precise application.
Ruby and Millie Pencil Liner in Black along lower lashline.
Sephora Advanced Lash Booster Mascara in Black
Lips:
MAC Lipstick in Viva Glam V
MAC Lipglass in Viva Glam V

Quick NOTD - from New Years Day.
Thought I would show you my first attempt using nail foils. I used:
2 coats of L.A. Colours Base Coat
Spangles Nails Foil Adhesive
Spangles Nail Foil in Turquoise
2 coats of Barry M nail polish in NP191 (I don't have the proper spangles foil sealer as I bought the other bits in a sale - I probably need to get it as I found it chipped very quickly with this.)
I apolagise for not cleaning up my cuticles - I will try to remember to do so when I do another NOTD post.
